How We Rank Characters

Our BLEACH Mirrors High tier list evaluates all 32 roster characters across three game modes: PvE story and farming, PvP arena, and Boss raid encounters. Grades range from SS (meta-defining) through D (niche or underpowered). Rankings combine official skill descriptions, franchise knowledge, Bandai Namco combat patterns from similar titles, and CBT data as it becomes available.

These are pre-launch estimates — not official Bandai Namco rankings. Balance patches during the July 2026 closed beta and post-launch banners will shift tiers. We label protagonist units Shirin Migishima and Shirane Sanari as TBA until measurable gameplay exists. Always cross-check mode-specific pages: a Boss S-tier unit may rank A-tier in PvP.

SS and S Tier Overview

SS tier currently projects few units pending CBT — reserved for outliers dominating multiple modes. S tier includes proven performers like Ichigo Kurosaki (Fire attacker) with strong single-target and Bankai burst, Rukia Kuchiki (Ice AoE freeze), Byakuya Kuchiki (Wind spread damage), and Yamamoto Genryusai (Fire burn AoE) for PvE and boss content.

PvP S-tier estimates favor speed and control — Ichigo maintains S rank while Rukia drops to A due to slower arena tempo. Ulquiorra Cifer projects Boss S-tier for execute-phase burst even when PvE grade sits at A. Support units like Kisuke Urahara rank S in utility for team-wide buffs rather than raw damage.

Quincy SSRs Yhwach and Haschwalth carry high variance — powerful in skilled hands but investment-heavy. Free story units and SR lieutenants like Renji fill B-tier bridge roles for early progression before SSR summons arrive.

Tier List Limitations Before Launch

Without public CBT combat logs, numeric damage values, leader skills, and resonance bonuses remain partially estimated. Official reveals cover eight characters deeply; remaining kits infer from BLEACH Brave Souls and Soul Resonance parallels while avoiding false certainty.

Bandai Namco may rebalance gacha rates separately from combat power — a lower-tier SR may be easier to max for beginners. Tier lists measure ceiling performance at investment parity, not account progression speed.

Using Tier Lists for Team Building

Build PvE teams around elemental synergy: Fire stacks with Ichigo, Renji, and Yamamoto; Ice pairs Rukia and Toshiro for freeze lock. Boss teams prioritize burst SSRs with Defenders or Healers like Unohana for sustain phases.

PvP demands speed stat breakpoints and crowd control — consult the PvP Tier List before investing duplicates into PvE-only favorites. Boss Tier List highlights units with damage amplification against shield or phase mechanics common in raid design.
